Peche Accessories was founded in 2009 by Marguerite Orndorff, a former May Company accessories buyer and stay-at-home mom to two boys and a baby girl. With two adolescent nieces and a young daughter of her own, Marguerite began to realize the need for cute hair accessories that worked for girls who were too old for bows. She pulled out her sewing machine and got to work designing, assembling and sewing handcrafted headbands, ponytail buttons and clips using fresh, funky fabrics and custom-knit accents. Friends and family began asking for more inventory, and, very quickly, Peche Accessories was born.
Peche is the French word for peach. The image of the peach tells the story of this company’s focus on being fresh (and, we think, irresistible). Also, Georgia is a family name for Marguerite. When we think about peaches, we think about Georgia – and why not throw in a little French to reiterate our commitment to style?
Today, the company sells to select stores, school book stores, and participates in holiday markets in the Southeast. We also have a loyal following of individuals who love the quality of our products! Please contact us if you think Peche would be a great addition to your store!
